Description
MOTUL DOT 3 & 4 Brake Fluid Application. For all hydraulic systems of brake actuators and clutches which require DOT 3 and DOT 4 fluids. Features. Excellent resistance to increased temperatures and stability. The boiling temperature of this product (245° C) exceeds the requirements of DOT 3 (205° C) and DOT 4 3 (230° C) categories which helps preserve efficient braking even in extreme conditions. Safety: The boiling temperature of the wet brake fluid is increased up to 160° C and exceeds DOT 3 (140°C) and DOT 4 (155°C) categories which allows you to extend the service life of the product. DOT3 / DOT4 / DOT5.1 brake fluids have absorbing properties, i.e. they can absorb moisture from the air which leads to the increased boiling temperature and safety. The boiling temperature of the wet fluid is specified based on the results of the test conducted after one-year operation. It is neutral to seals used in the brake system. It has anti-corrosive properties. Application recommendations. It can be mixed with DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 fluids without silicone. Do not mix with mineral based fluids (LHM) and silicone-based fluids (DOT 5). Keep the product in a tightly closed original package not exposing to moisture. It is aggressive to lacquers, paints and hand skin. Wash off with water in case of skin contact. To ensure safety, replace the brake fluid once per year. Classifications: FMVSS 116 DOT 4 & DOT 3; SAE J 1703; ISO 4925 (3 & 4)
